On this day 12th December 1972 the Age newspaper readers were informed of the new dedicated SUPERCARS which were S CARS and supported by Q CARS they were 8 special POLICE Ford Falcon GT HO powered units for the newly formed Victoria Police Mobile traffic section Hume Highway Patrol group announced last month
