This led to a preparation of a court brief to verify the Police Q car could manage that speed to intercept the speeding E-type Jaguar
The police XA registration number LHH 035 fronted Ford Motor Company Head Office on the Hume Highway Broadmeadows with the vin details Ford sent a letter to the Police driver Geoffrey Brown stating 40 of the axed Bathurst specials Falcon GT-HO Phase IV engines were made and the XA Q CAR registration number number LHH 035 vin JG23MYXXXXXXK has one of those engines as well as 36 others built in other Police cars throughout Australia , 3 other engines were in cars that went to the public
